for Delaware Trails Board Meeting of January 8, 2001
Meeting
called to order at 7:15 p.m.
Minutes
were read from last meeting and accepted with one correction.
Present
were Jeff Pitts, Ken Zweigel, Dave Lumley, Ann Bevilacqua, Jill Litherland,
Nancy Pennington, Andy Richardson and Bob Stedron

The
JCC as location for Winter Party is proving problematic. New ideas for an event are Bowling and a
Bingo Night with pitch-in dinner. Jill
will continue to brainstorm and check with Fox Hill Elem School, Westlane
Middle School, Leinarts (sp?) Gym Camp, and the North Willow Party Building for
locations.

Ann
Bevilacqua will continue to work on the computer class. The “Intro to Internet” aspect is too
daunting a class for our purpose…we will focus on “Use of existing
Informational Databases”. We’re
thinking parent/student workshop. Still
need to contact Westlane Middle School for possible dates.

Members
gave Ann B. ideas/information for upcoming newsletter. The dues letter will be coming sooner. Some mention of effective salt crews will be
made.
4>
David
Lumley had brief Treasurer’s report.
Balance of $5114.64 in account with a small deposit yet to be made. Have spent $510 on snow removal to date. (Not reflected in balance)

Next
three meetings are 2/12, 3/12 and 4/9.

Jeff
shared information on Team Communication, especially “Team Vocabulary”. These guidelines help us address differences
in opinion respectfully and positively.
Key words that everyone understands steering conversation and
explanation. Good Stuff. We will try to implement some of these
ideas.
