called to order 7:25 p.m. December 11, 2000
Notes
were read from the last meeting and accepted as presented.

were Jeff Pitts, Ken Zweigel, Dave Lumley, Jill Litherland, Mary Ann Nowlin,
Ann Bevilacqua and Bob Stedron
1>
Started
with a “get acquainted” session. Varied
in experience and expertise; good cross section of neighborhood. Good mix of long term residents and newbies.
2>
Ann
Bevilacqua proposed a computer training session for interested neighbors. Maybe two parts consisting of “Intro to
Internet” and “Database use”. Detail to
be decided are how many participants?, what level of existing tech knowledge?
and admission charge? Ann will bring a
course outline for next meeting.
3>
Report
on Operation Night-Light: Block
Captains will approach neighbors, ½ of BC need training.
4>
Block
Captains will also approach with “Who has 4 wheel drive vehicles? Who wants to be/needs a “snow buddy”? Should be a series of questions. We have settled on the Official Operation
Night-Light lamp. Cost is $10.50. Need to set up 2nd meeting for
Block Captains!
5>
More
research is needed for dues expectations listed on Realtor listings. Some associations are accomplishing it and
we will persevere.
6>
February
Party. Break the Blues? Parent Night Out? Stedron will check the JCC regarding using the Center as a place
for kids to play while adults go out.
7>
The
Board Meeting will henceforth be located at Ann Bevilacqua’s house every 2nd
Monday of each month. We thank her for
her hospitality and will not abuse the privilege.
Meeting
adjourned at 9:30pm
Respectfully
submitted,
Bob
Stedron
