Minutes of February Meeting as follows:

1.                 The treasurer’s report was given by David Johnston.  We have paid to date $212.00 for snow removal.  Fifty five residents have paid annual neighborhood dues totaling $1690.00.  The balance in the treasury as of 2-5-2003 is $8850.97.

2.                 The DTCA Board will continue to use a printing office to do the newsletters and mailings.  The board will solicit bids from several printing houses to do the printing and mailing of the newsletters and select the best bid to do the work.

3.                 Advertising for the neighborhood garage sale was budgeted at $75.00 for classified ads in the Indianapolis Star and Topics papers.  Another $25.00 will be used for balloons to identify participants.  Yard signs will be located at several key intersections.

4.                 In order for the traffic calming survey to be conducted by the city, more signatures are needed.  Opportunities for signing will be at the neighborhood afternoon at the movies and the general membership meeting.

5.                 McNamara Garden Center has agreed to donate a 5’ to 7’ blue spruce for the neighborhood to sponsor a raffle for Fireman Jim.  We would in turn,  provide advertising space in the next three newsletters.  The funds from the raffle will go  towards the townships child safety programs.  Raffle tickets will be $5.00 ea and the drawing will be held at the Fall Food Fest.

6.                 The Board of Directors will allocate funds to print more sponsorship brochures and revue advertising costs for the annual neighborhood directory.

7.                 A motion was made to archive an original blue print drawing of a part of the neighborhood plot plan and the neighborhood by-laws.   This will be converted to a PDF and CAD file to be posted to the website.

8.                 A mailing will be made 45 days after the dues mailing to be included with the general membership notice reminding neighbors to pay their dues

9.                 The DTCA Board discussed the need to have a board member as co-administrator of the neighborhood website.

10.            The board will discuss at their next meeting the details of the neighborhood volunteer day.  Recruitment of volunteers and candidates for assistance will be discussed.

Respectfully submitted by Secretary David Berghoff
